Description

This Linear expansion apparatus is supported by a heavy metal base that measures 27" Long. Includes metal tube with three fittings for steam inlet, outlet and thermometer placement hole. Set includes 3 metal rods (1 aluminum, 1 brass and 1 iron), measuring 19.75", for expansion experiments. Economy dial gauge to read amount of expansion. Thumb screw on other end to create a fixed location for the rod while testing.
