The brass nozzle (0.4 mm) for Pro2 Series is ideal for printing conventional materials, such as PLA,ABS, and PETG. The brass nozzle offers a superficial finish of high quality pieces. In addition, brass is a material with good heat dissipation, allowing it to make parts very quickly and at the same time with great quality.


Hardened Steel Nozzle

To take full advantage of the Pro2 Series 3D printer, Raise3D has developed hardened  steel nozzles (0.2 - 0.4 - 0.6 - 0.8 - 1 mm). Its resistance to wear is several times higher than brass nozzles, maintaining a good surface finish of the pieces made.

These types of nozzles allow the use of materials that contain all types of abrasive fibers (carbon and glass): Nylon - Carbon Fiber CF15, XSTRAND GF30-PA6, XSTRAND GF30-PP, XSTRAND GF30-PC, etc.

Steel nozzle with WS2 coating

To achieve maximum resistance to reinforced filaments and to optimise material flow, Raise3D has developed the WS2 coated steel nozzle. This nozzle is only compatible with the Raise Pro2 series, Raise Pro3 series and Raise E2 series.

The special coating on this nozzle gives the nozzle a very high hardness of 7.8 on the Mohs scale. This allows the user to 3D print with carbon fibre, glass fibre, metallic or ceramic filaments while maintaining excellent flow and durability.

The advantages of these nozzles over other nozzles are as follows:

  • Low coefficient of friction: Thanks to the WS2 coating, this nozzle has a lower coefficient of friction, which results in improved material flow.
  • Good lubrication and anti-abrasive performance: This nozzle has excellent performance using abrasive filaments, even when subjected to high temperatures (max. 450 ā„ƒ)
