This Privacy Policy explains how Congeriem Inc. ("Congeriem," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you visit our website, create an account, request a quote, contact us, subscribe to communications or purchase products and services.

1. Who is responsible for your information?

Congeriem Inc. is responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy. If you have a privacy question or request, contact Customer Service at 844-926-6444 or use our Contact Us page.

2. Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with the website and may include:

  • Contact information: name, organisation, email address, telephone number, billing address and delivery address.
  • Account information: account identifiers, sign-in credentials in protected form, saved addresses, account preferences and purchase history.
  • Order and transaction information: products, quantities, prices, quote requests, purchase orders, delivery selections, payment status, returns, warranties and customer-service records.
  • Payment-related information: information required to complete and protect a transaction. Payment-card details may be collected or processed directly by the applicable payment provider rather than stored by Congeriem.
  • Communications: messages, enquiries, support requests, survey responses and correspondence with us.
  • Marketing preferences: newsletter subscriptions and choices concerning promotional communications.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, timestamps, requested pages, referring page, security events and diagnostic information.
  • Cookie and consent information: consent categories, consent action, consent version, timestamp, store identifier and a randomly generated consent identifier.
  • Optional analytics or engagement information: website usage, page history, performance information and interactions collected only when the corresponding optional service is enabled and the required consent has been granted.

3. How we collect information

We collect personal information:

  • directly from you when you create an account, submit a form, request a quote, contact us, subscribe or place an order;
  • automatically through essential website systems and, where permitted by your choice, optional cookies and similar technologies;
  • from service providers involved in website hosting, security, customer communications, checkout, payment, fraud prevention, fulfilment and delivery; and
  • from organisations acting on your behalf, such as a school, university, business or purchasing organisation.

4. Why we use personal information

We may use personal information to:

  • provide, administer and secure the website;
  • create and manage customer accounts;
  • prepare quotes and process purchase orders;
  • process, protect, fulfil and deliver orders;
  • communicate about transactions, warranties, returns and support;
  • prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorised access and other security threats;
  • maintain business, tax, accounting and compliance records;
  • respond to enquiries and privacy requests;
  • send requested newsletters or promotional communications and manage opt-out choices;
  • measure and improve website performance when optional Analytics consent has been granted;
  • provide optional customer-engagement or marketing functions when Marketing consent has been granted; and
  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims and comply with applicable legal requirements.

5. Legal grounds

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, Congeriem processes personal information as necessary to provide requested products or services and perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, protect legitimate business and security interests, or act on your consent. When processing depends on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before the withdrawal.

6. Cookies, analytics and marketing choices

Strictly necessary cookies and browser storage support essential website, session, security, shopping-cart, checkout and consent-preference functions. Optional Analytics, Marketing and Preferences technologies are intended to remain inactive until you accept the corresponding category.

You can choose Accept All, Reject Non-Essential or Manage Preferences through the cookie-consent interface. Closing the first-visit banner does not grant consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the permanent Cookie Settings button.

The first-party cookie congeriem_cookie_consent_STOREID remembers your selected categories, consent action, version, timestamp, store identifier and a randomly generated consent identifier. Under the current configuration, it is retained for up to 180 days and is not used for advertising, analytics or behavioural profiling.

For more information, including cookie categories and the current technology inventory, read our Cookie Policy.

7. Service providers and other recipients

We may disclose personal information to service providers only as reasonably necessary for the services they perform, subject to appropriate contractual, security and legal requirements. These recipients may include:

  • website hosting, infrastructure, content-delivery and security providers;
  • Magento, Hyvรค and related ecommerce technology providers;
  • payment, checkout, transaction-security and fraud-prevention providers, including Bolt when its services are used;
  • shipping, delivery, fulfilment, warranty and product suppliers;
  • accounting, tax, legal, insurance and professional advisers;
  • customer-support and communications providers;
  • Brevo, when its consent-controlled Conversations or communication services are enabled;
  • Sanzsec Analytics, when the analytics service is configured and you have accepted Analytics; and
  • government, regulatory, law-enforcement or judicial authorities when disclosure is legally required.

Brevo Conversations may process page URLs, page history, device details, approximate location and conversation information to provide customer engagement. Its recognised website loader is assigned to the Marketing category and is intended to remain inactive until Marketing consent is granted. You can review Brevo's Privacy Policy.

Bolt may process contact, checkout, transaction, payment, device, security and fraud-prevention information when you use an applicable checkout or payment option. You can review Bolt's Privacy Center. Optional Bolt OpenReplay session recording is disabled in the current Congeriem implementation.

Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft/Bing UET are not currently enabled through the Congeriem Cookie Consent module. If any of these services is enabled in the future, Congeriem will update the applicable policy and cookie inventory and place the service behind the required consent category before activation.

We may also disclose information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation, sale of assets or similar business transaction, subject to applicable legal protections.

8. International processing

Some service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, Congeriem uses appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for international transfers. Provider-specific information may also be available in the privacy notices linked above.

9. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing orders and services, maintaining accounts, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, preventing fraud and meeting tax, accounting, warranty and other legal obligations.

Retention periods vary according to the type of record and applicable requirements. The consent-preference cookie is currently configured for up to 180 days. If consent audit logging is enabled, the associated consent record is subject to the configured consent-record retention process. Session information is generally retained for the session or applicable configured lifetime. Transaction and compliance records may be retained longer where required by law or legitimate recordkeeping needs.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against accidental loss and unauthorised access, use, alteration or disclosure. No online service or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information; obtain a copy of certain information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or complain to an appropriate privacy authority.

You may:

  • change optional cookie consent through Cookie Settings;
  • unsubscribe from promotional email by using the unsubscribe option in the message;
  • update available account information through your account; or
  • submit a privacy request through our Contact Us page or by calling 844-926-6444.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a privacy request. We may retain information necessary to document the request and our response.

12. Children's privacy

The website is intended for customers purchasing educational products and is not designed for children to submit personal information without appropriate adult involvement. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, please contact us so we can review the matter.

13. Third-party websites

The website may contain links to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and Congeriem is not responsible for those third-party practices.

14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, services, providers or legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. If a material change requires a renewed optional tracking choice, the website may ask you to review your cookie preferences again.
